Research shows that many senior citizens living in care facilities often experience feelings of loneliness and isolation. A study by the National Institute on Aging found that nearly 43% of seniors in assisted living reported feeling lonely.
Furthermore, surveys indicate that during festive seasons, the sense of isolation can intensify, as traditional family gatherings and celebrations may not be accessible.Our mission this Diwali is to combat these feelings by fostering a sense of community and belonging. We aim to create an environment where our elders can celebrate the festival of lights with joy and camaraderie.
